Opening hours and directions

Guided Public Tours
Guided public tours in Mandarin or Cantonese (depending on the requirements of on-site participants) are available on the hour at hourly intervals between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. A maximum of 10 participants will be accepted for each session through on-site registration.

 

Guided Tours for Schools/Organisations
Guided tours for schools/organisations at a designated time need to be applied for in advance. Application forms must be submitted 15 working days before the proposed date of the visit by fax to +853-28366836, or delivered in person to Lou Kau Mansion at No. 7 of Travessa da Sé, Macao. The mansion will reply via email within 5 working days starting from the day after the application forms are received. Visits will be arranged according to the order they are submitted in.

 

Cantonese / Mandarin Guided Tours for Schools
Lou Kau Mansion welcomes all educational institutions registered in the Macao SAR, including kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, post-secondary schools and tertiary education institutions, to arrange for their students to visit the mansion, or hold teaching activities at the mansion.

Lou Kau Mansion welcomes non-profit groups, associations and organisations registered in the Macao SAR to arrange group visits to the mansion.

Crowd Control Measures
A maximum of 30 visitors will be accepted for each session.
The area on the second floor is open to visitors on weekends and public holidays. A maximum of 10 people will be accepted for each session and all visitors must follow the guided tour throughout the session.

Notes on Photography and Filming
To avoid any impact on public visits, except for general photography and filming for commemorative purposes, an application must be submitted to the Cultural Affairs Bureau 20 days in advance for all photography and filming activities in the mansion, such as wedding photos, modelling photos, or commercial advertisements, and may only proceed after obtaining approval.
