Accessible Captions

Text is added to common subtitles to describe the sound elements of a programme, such as the characters’ tones, music and sound effects, helping people with hearing impairment to understand and enjoy the performance.

Audio Description

Similar to a voice over, a narrator gives an oral description of the visual elements in front of the audience, including various stage effects and the actors’ movements, so that people with visual impairment may have a better grasp and understanding of the programme in real time.

Theatrical Interpretation

Sign language interpretation is complemented with body movements and facial expressions corresponding with the action on stage, and pauses are made whenever necessary to remind the audience to pay attention, thus ensuring that sign language users don’t miss a thing.
